Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Allure Commerce, together with our event and commerce partner Shopify, collects, uses, and protects the personal information you share when you register for, attend, or otherwise engage with RETAIL DELUXE FALL EDITION 2026. It follows the same structure and principles as Shopify's own privacy policy, available in full at shopify.com/legal/privacy, since Shopify processes certain registration and commerce data on our behalf.
1. Introduction
In hosting RETAIL DELUXE FALL EDITION 2026, we collect and use information about attendees, speakers, sponsors, and site visitors to plan and run the event responsibly. This policy, together with Shopify's own privacy policy where it applies to shared commerce and ticketing infrastructure, explains what we collect, why, and the choices available to you. If we make significant changes to how we handle your information, we will let you know.
2. Our Values
Your information belongs to you. We only collect what we need to run the event and communicate with you, and we delete or anonymize it once it's no longer needed.
We protect your information from others. We do not share your data with third parties beyond what's needed to operate the event, unless you consent or we're legally required to.
We keep things simple. Where our systems rely on Shopify's platform, we lean on Shopify's privacy and security practices rather than building our own from scratch.
3. Why We Process Your Information
We process your information to confirm your registration, manage entry and seating, communicate event logistics, personalize the sessions and speakers we recommend, coordinate with sponsors on relevant logistics, and improve future editions of RETAIL DELUXE FALL EDITION 2026. We rely on your consent, our legitimate interest in running a safe and well-organized event, and, where applicable, our contractual obligation to provide the experience you registered for.
4. Your Rights Over Your Information
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of certain communications. We will not charge you more or provide a lesser experience if you exercise these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details in section 10, or reach Shopify directly for information they process on our behalf.
5. Where We Send Your Information
We are based in the United States, and registration and commerce data may be processed by Shopify's global infrastructure, including in Canada, the United States, and other regions where Shopify operates. Shopify applies its own cross-border transfer safeguards, described in its privacy policy, to data it processes on our behalf.
6. How Long We Retain Your Information
We retain registration and attendance information for as long as reasonably necessary to plan the event, meet legal obligations, and support future editions of RETAIL DELUXE FALL EDITION 2026, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
7. Our Use of Machine Learning
We may use basic automated tools to help sort registrations or personalize session recommendations. These tools support, rather than replace, human decision-making, and are not used to make decisions that have a significant legal effect on you.
8. How We Protect Your Information
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, and rely on Shopify's platform-level security for any data processed through its systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.
10. How You Can Reach Us
If you would like to ask about, make a request relating to, or complain about how we process your personal data, contact us at Info@allurecommerce.com. If your question relates to data processed by Shopify's platform, you can also reach Shopify Support directly.
11. United States Regional Privacy Notice
This notice supplements our policy for individuals residing in certain US states, under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, and similar state privacy laws. We do not sell your personal information. You may have the right to know, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to designate an authorized agent to exercise these rights on your behalf. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at Info@allurecommerce.com.
